Account Deletion Policy

At Rajput Knots, we value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. This policy outlines how users can request the deletion of their Rajput Knots account and all associated personal data, in compliance with Google Play Store User Data Policies.

1. How to Delete Your Account & Data

Option A: In-App Account Deletion (Recommended)

Open the Rajput Knots app and log into your account.
Navigate to My Profile > Additional Settings.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Confirm your deletion request when prompted. Your account and data will be erased immediately.

Option B: Web Request (No App Access Required)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, send an email to rajputknots@gmail.com.

Subject Line: Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email or Phone]

Body: Include your full name, registered phone number/email address, and a brief statement requesting the deletion of your account.

Our team will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 3 to 5 business days.

2. What Data Is Deleted

When an account deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently erased from our servers and Firebase database:

Profile & Identity Data: Full name, gender, date of birth, bio, location, community details, and marital status.
Account Credentials: Authentication credentials including email address, phone number, hashed password, and User ID.
Media & Photos: All uploaded profile pictures and gallery images stored in Firebase Storage.
Interests & Connections: History of sent and received interest requests, connections, shortlists, and blocked user records.
Chat Messages: Direct messaging history and active chat channels.
Device Tokens: Push notification FCM tokens associated with your device.

3. Data Retention & Exceptions

All personal data associated with your account is permanently purged upon deletion. However, limited data may be retained temporarily for legal and regulatory compliance, fraud prevention logs, or reporting records for up to 90 days if required by local laws or active safety/abuse investigations. Anonymized aggregated data that cannot be linked back to an individual user identity may be retained to improve app performance.
