Welcome to Rajput Knots, a dedicated matrimonial and community matchmaking platform. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respect your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our mobile application.
We collect personal and sensitive user data to provide our matchmaking services, including account and profile data such as name, gender, email address, phone number, date of birth, marital status, community details, location, and bio; media and photos such as profile pictures and gallery photos uploaded by you; communication data such as direct chat messages, connection requests, interest history, and blocked user records; and device and technical data such as device FCM tokens for push notifications, IP address, and app usage logs.
We use the collected information strictly for legitimate app functionality, including registering, verifying, and managing your account; matching and displaying your profile to relevant users of the opposite gender; facilitating in-app chat communications and sending transactional notifications; and enforcing account moderation, moderation approvals, and security blocks.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertisers. Your data is shared only with trusted backend service providers strictly required to operate the app, including Google Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage, and Messaging for cloud database hosting, user authentication, file storage, and push notifications. We may also share information with legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our users.
All personal data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/SSL encryption. Profile photos and media are securely stored in Google Cloud Storage with strict rules preventing unauthorized access.
In accordance with Google Play Store policies, users have full control over their account data. For in-app deletion, go to My Profile > Settings > Delete Account to immediately purge your account and all associated data. You can also request account deletion by emailing rajputknots@gmail.com.
Rajput Knots is strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older, or legal marriageable age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, it will be deleted immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.
